The Cincinnati Reds activated closer Emilio Pagan from the 15-day injured list and placed outfielder Dane Myers on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday.
The team also optioned right-hander Zach McCambley to Triple-A Louisville and called up infielder/outfielder Ivan Johnson from Louisville.
Pagan, 35, has been sidelined since May 5, when he strained his left hamstring in a game against the Chicago Cubs. He is 2-1 with a 6.43 ERA and six saves in 15 appearances this season.
Myers, 30, sustained a left shoulder contusion when he collided with the wall while making an acrobatic catch in the fourth inning of Monday’s 5-3 loss at Milwaukee. He is batting .256 with three homers and 14 RBIs in 63 games.
McCambley, 27, made his major league debut on June 3 and has made four relief appearances with no decisions and a 6.23 ERA.
Johnson, 27, was a fourth-round draft pick by the Reds in 2019 and has yet to make his MLB debut. He is batting .290 with nine homers and 28 RBIs in 55 games this season at Louisville.
